Nike and Warrior in Bidding War Over Kit Deal for Manchester United: The Daily EPL
Nike and Warrior are in a bidding war over a new kit deal for Manchester United, according to a report in The Daily Mail newspaper.
Manchester United look likely to break through the £30 million per year barrier to receive a record kit deal either from current kit providers Nike or American company Warrior Sports, who recently jumped into the soccer world when they signed Liverpool to a deal.

LFC is a f ing joke fine suarez LOL!you have never been on the right side with this jackwagon.they have always made the wrong decision.after this choice honor and dignity will never be used with LFC the management blew it.
He’s going to get suspend anyway why not score some PR points and suspend him for the last 4-5 games themselves. It’s minor like they have anything to play for.
This is just another poor public relations decisions by the new ownership.
It’s going to be a hell of a lot more than 30m a year. If Liverpool can get 25m a year and we are currently getting 15m just for Our training kit deal expect Nike to double our current deal.

i agree Adidas or Warrior i would play skins before taking nike money.
Nike is pure, unrestrained, soulless douchebaggery and evil personified. Kind of like the club. So on that level, a good match.
But then on the other hand, taking Nike off that kit deal means that the 99.9% of Rag TV (i.e. Sky Sports) highlights will involve at least one club NOT wearing Nike’s abominable creations.
To wit, look at what these tosspots have apparently foisted on City’s players for next year’s pre-match warmups. I say “players” because I cannot imagine anyone actually buying this dreck.

Stick with Nike but make them pay for the privilege of making our kit. Having Nike and their financial clout behind you also has added benefits of helping secure off field sponsorship deals for players. We also have the distribution deal with Nike with us and them splitting profits from merchandise 50/50. Warrior sports can compete with Nike on a global scale.

Wow, based on Warrior’s first home shirt for Liverpool, Manchester Utd’s fans shouldn’t worry too much about the home, it’s the change shirts they should be concerned about.

Dean, it’s not as simple as that, it’s about expertise, branding clout, distribution, and competence. Things Nike has an advantage on.
The highest bidder in terms of package wins. The thing against Warrior is that they sponsor the red scousers, and their away shirt is horrendous. That said, however ugly a kit may look, a pair of golden triangles on the sleeves helps!
