Liverpool Consider Move for Newcastle Forward Hatem Ben Arfa: The Daily EPL
Newcastle United are still interested in bringing Andy Carroll back to Tyneside, so in order for the deal to go through, Liverpool are interested in getting Hatem Ben Arfa heading to Anfield as part of the deal, according to The Guardian.
It sounds like a brilliant deal to me, but I can’t see it happening. Newcastle United would be mad to let go of Hatem Ben Arfa. Newcastle knows that Liverpool doesn’t want Carroll, who’s on loan at West Ham, so the Geordies can play hardball in my opinion and refuse to let Ben Arfa go as part of the deal.
What do you think? How would Ben Arfa look in this Liverpool side, and should Newcastle say yes to the deal or not?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah-dream on suckers!!!!!!!
West Ham also have the rights of first refusal on Andy Carroll, but for £17M. Unless he has one hell of an end of the year I can’t see us paying that. Though considering we are reported to have paid nearly £11M for Jarvis, which makes the £17M for Carroll seem a steal.
Normally The Guardian is pretty conservative in printing rumors. I suspect his name was mentioned at some point, but I can’t see it happening.
I can’t believe that nobody on epltalk has even mentioned that today is the 55th annivesary of the “Munich Air Diseaster”, you mean you guys forgot or is it just PLAIN ABU HATRED.
Prinz,
I’m Coming.
It’s the sixth story in The Daily EPL today.
Cheers,
The Gaffer
Andy Carroll is injury prone. Newcastle would be daft to take on this guy again.
They made a good sale to get rid of him. He’s barely played since his sale to Liverpool. It won’t be long till he’s injured again.
Ben Arfa can go for the right price. The toon are revitalized without him. He’s injury prone as well. Magic when on the pitch but can dissapear for long spells.
