Everton Celebrate 125 Years of Football: The Daily EPL
Today marks the 125th year anniversary of Everton Football Club. One hundred and twenty five years ago today, Everton played Bolton Wanderers in 1887 in a FA Cup first round match that was later ordered to be replayed because the Trotters fielded an ineligible player. Everton’s match against Bolton was the club’s first professional match. The club itself was founded in 1878 as St. Domingo’s FC.

Gaffer,
I was wondering why the TV listing haven’t been updated on MLSTalk since May? I Went there today to check the time and channel for the USA match because I don’t really trust ESPN’s site most of the time for TV listings since they have been wrong before and I have missed games.
CTBlues, I need to remove the page from the website. We originally intended to keep it updated there, but we don’t have enough resources to keep it updated. MLS TV schedules are far more complex than EPL ones unfortunately, with all of the local programming.
USA vs Guatemala will be on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com tonight at 7pm ET.
Cheers,
The Gaffer
Thanks Gaffer.
Well done Everton only 25 years younger than stoke city at 150 years old
That stunned me too. What I can’t get my head around is that whilst Stoke Ramblers were kicking off in 1863 the Yankees and Confederates were ‘kicking off’ too!
