Wigan Athletic Home Shirt for 2011-12 Season: Photo
Wigan Athletic today unveiled their home shirt for the 2011-12 Premier League season.
I’m in two minds regarding the design. In one way, I think it cheapens the look of the team and it makes them look like Millwall or Ipswich Town (no offense), but then again, the design is a simple, classic cut that is better than some of the home shirts they’ve produced in recent years.
Designed and manufactured by Mi-Fit, the new kit will be officially unveiled for the first time when Latics take on La Liga side Villarreal in a pre-season friendly at the DW Stadium on Sunday August 7.
The new Wigan home shirt features an old-fashioned white collar and white trim along the side of the shirt and on the cuffs, while the Mi-Fit logo is featured in gold and the rest of the shirt is blue.

Looks like a Rangers kit. Quite liked their tops last season though.
Cheapen? Its more to who they are. a rugby club.
It must be hard for the fan of a big London club to accept that a football club from a small northern town is still in the premier league an they are not.Jealousy is a terrible thing. Up the Latics

Relatively classy by Wigan’s standards. I’m surprised.
I’d sooner be a Rugby club than a Championship club. At least West Ham will be good at Synchronized swimming, when they get the Stadium they can’t afford.
