It’s been a few weeks since we’ve had a new episode in our weekly series, Friday Flashback Videos. So since Arsenal will be playing Manchester United this Sunday in the Premier League, I thought it’d be worthwhile to go back in time and watch the video highlights of the 1999 FA Cup semi-final replay between the two clubs.

As you’ll see from the video highlights above, this was an event-filled match with some brilliant goals, plenty of drama and a much thinner and younger Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.

Enjoy the video. And feel free to share your observations from the video in the comments section below.

Not a Man United fan by any stretch of the imagination but though this tune most appropriate.

Hush little gooner don’t you cry.
You can’t win a thing no matter how hard you try.
Hush little gooner don’t say a word.
You’ve slipped up in the league you’ll probably finish third.
Hush little gooner you’ve screwed it up.
You couldn’t even win the carling cup.
Hush little gooner life’s not fair
you haven’t even got any silverware
