RIP Neil Young, Manchester City Legend: 1944-2011 (Video Tribute)

It’s with great sadness to report that Manchester City legend Neil Young passed away today after a long battle with cancer.

Young will go down in history as the man who scored to help Manchester City win the 1970 European Cup Winners Cup as well as the solitary goal in the 1969 FA Cup Final. In total, Young made 334 league appearances for Manchester City, scoring 86 goals.

Young was inducted into the Manchester City Hall of Fame in 2008.

May he rest in peace.
