It’s definitely a pleasure to have two of the top teams from the Premier League in New York this weekend to compete in a friendly tournament. So many times in the past, the States have gotten passed up as clubs traveled to Asia. Now, this summer is our turn with a handful of English clubs touring the United States.

Over at our sister site Major League Soccer Talk, blogger Daniel Feuerstein has been sharing his pictures, stories and video from the Barclays New York Challenge. I’ve included a few video highlights below. One after the Spurs versus New York Red Bulls match, and two before the tournament began:
