Man United Training Session in Chicago: Photos
Manchester United played a training session Wednesday in Chicago that was open to the public. And we had EPL Talk photographer Christian Doellner on hand to capture some brilliant pictures of what happened on the pitch at Toyota Park.
Players including Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Edwin van der Sar and others trained for approximately one hour in front of a few thousand spectators.
Thursday morning, officials and players from Manchester United rung the opening bell on the Chicago Stock Exchange. Next step for Man United is to play their first preseason friendly of the summer. They’ll be playing against Celtic at Rogers Center. For viewers in the United States, the game will be televised on ESPN2 at 7pm ET.

Game is at Rogers Centre (formerly Skydome), not BMO.
For those in Chicago, and that will read this in time, players will be at Niketown on Michigan ave at 2:15 today.
Aren’t they playing Celtic at Rogers Centre?
Bad Gaffer, bad Gaffer! Edgar and Lonny, you’re both correct. The post has now been fixed.

Still fuming that I had to be on a business trip the days Man U are in Chicago! What are the odds! Guess I’ll have to fly to Manchester sometime soon!
I love it how they’re all wearing sports bras. How very fitting..
Is the Roger Center still a turf field? There was a few pic’s of a fan wearing the green & gold scarf but wearing last years United kit. That kinds of beats the purpuse of the green & gold campain doesn’t it?
