Behind The Scenes of Lego Football: Video

It’s been a decent summer for viral soccer videos. Nike’s Write The Future, despite being overblown, was entertaining to watch and produced a few chuckles. The return of Special1 TV has been a nice distraction even though they haven’t been able to find their groove yet. But the highlight for me has been the series of Lego football videos which uses stop-motion photography to capture key incidents from the 2010 World Cup.

If you’re like me, and you want to see who is the magician behind these wonderful videos as well as to see how he does it, watch this short but revealing video. The broadcast is in German, but you don’t need to speak the language to understand what is being discussed. Highly recommended viewing!
