World Cup 2010 Day 13: World Cup Buzz Podcast

It was a glorious day for the United States and England, who move on from the World Cup’s Group C in first and second place. This weekend, they will meet Ghana and Germany, respectively – the two teams that qualify for the knockout rounds from Group D. To talk about that, and Thursday’s action (Groups E and F) I’m joined by Laurence McKenna for this addition of the World Cup Buzz Podcast.

Is there anywhere on your site that shows the predictions that the podcast announcers have made vs the final results? It seems that Kartik is off more often than the others, but we should see a score!
Ralph, you can see everyone’s predictions at: http://epltalk.com/2010-world-cup-predictions-beat-the-pundits/20646
Cheers,
The Gaffer
I think Kartik’s right alot more than he’s wrong. . . except when talking about the US or Man City. . . or Brian Laws
LOL, Brian Laws was one of my worst picks EVER! We all get them wrong now and again but that one I was really really off on. Scunthorpe isn’t the Prem obviously. Lesson learned.
England wont pass the Argies, thats about it where they go
Here’s a bit of feeback, for the site (not the podcast), how about talking about the USA? We won our game yesterday. We won our group. And yet, all the stories on EPL talk are about Defoe’s goal. Terry’s missed header. And an interview with Paul Scholes.
Whats up?
Mizzy, we have nine sites in the EPL Talk Network. Each site covers a different country or region of the world. This one covers the Premier League and England. MLS Talk covers the US and Major League Soccer Talk. Those articles (as well as many more at http://www.worldcupbuzz.com) can be found at http://www.majorleaguesoccertalk.com
Cheers,
The Gaffer
With all the Wowie’s promotions and what not i forget that. My bad Gaffer, carry on.
Where was Kartik today? did he celebrate the USA victory too hard????
Great result for the USA, pretty ho-hum from England.
