New Liverpool Home Shirt: Video

Liverpool has released a video of its players modeling the new Liverpool home football shirt.

Worn by Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt and Jamie Carragher, you can see the players modeling the shirt in front of the photographers and TV cameras during a special shoot recently at a secret location.

The Adidas strip represents a modern interpretation of the one worn during the 1989-90 campaign, in which the Reds won title number 18, and is available to pre-order now ahead of the official launch date of May 6, 2010.

I think the key word there is “nice”.

  2. Bishopville Red says:

    Two words: Bor. Ing.

  3. Chelsea Fan says:

    Its HORRENDOUS!

    • Liverpool Fan says:

Number 1: it’s actually really nice.
Number 2: Chelsea’s home jersey looks like it has a training bra sewed on.

  4. The Wanderer says:

You are right..the word ‘nice’ is overworked. Was it my imagination but was it easier to understand what Torres, Reina and Kuyt were saying compared to Gerrard and Carragher (don’t shoot me, but he talks like he has marbles in his mouth).

This was just a PR fluff piece..as if any of the players would say…’I don’t care what the shirt looks like, as long as punters cough up money for them so I can reap the profits’.

  5. brn442 says:

It does look a bit tight-fitting, Reina and Gerrard will have to stay off the meat pies.
