Love the classic vids, Chris.
The Prem and Fox are really missing out by not airing old highlight programs as filler programming during the day or would be better than airing paid programs in the morning.
Thinking a bit out of the box do you think we could see a Premiership Channel like we see with the MLB Network, the NHL Network, the MLB Network, the Big 10 Network, and NBA TV that could air on expanded sports cable packages where they could use the hours of inventory of programming just sitting somewhere collecting dust in which it could used to build the popularity of the sport here in the States as more and more people are taking to the sport?
CFTV, I don’t see it happening, but I do hope the Premier League decides to make more highlights available via iTunes and to allow football supporters to purchase the highlights from outside the UK. See http://epltalk.com/premier-league-classic-matches-come-to-itunes-uk-only-for-now/7433 for more information.
Cheers,
