How can you account for the 46 point gap between Liverpool and Manchester United? It’s simple. United were founded in 1878 as Newton Heath, while Liverpool was formed 14 years later in 1892.

Who would thought it? well anyone who remember the 80's.
My biggest suprise is that Portsmouth was left off of the list of other Premier League clubs.
are those only first division/premier points?

The points are for any points earned within the top four divisions within England, not just the Premier League/First Division.
