West Ham United’s shirt fiasco is far from over. The east London club has received permission from the Premier League to feature squad numbers on the front of their shirts beginning with tomorrow’s game at home against Newcastle United.

After their sponsor XL Holidays went bankrupt, West Ham had patches sewn on the front of their shirts over the XL name for last week’s game against West Bromwich Albion.

Even the Premier League has gotten in the act. They’ve removed the XL Holidays name from the West Ham shirts in their Fantasy Premier League game (see picture).
