Aston Villa today unveiled the design of their new away shirt for the 2008/2009 season, as well as their new home shirt. The new shirt, designed by Nike, is in stark contrast to previous designs of their away shirt. Last season’s was white, but this new one appears to be blue with navy or black trim.

Acorns, the children’s hospice, is featured as the main sponsor.

    I love villa’s new away jersey but the home jersey is same as before.

    The new away kit stinks. We play in white shirts away from home. This is Lerners first blunder. I won’t be buying one.
