tottenhamnew1 Tottenham Hotspur 08/09 Summer FriendliesIf you have £500,000 ($991,502), you too can have Tottenham Hotspur play a friendly in your town. That’s the “participation fee” that Spurs reportedly demands. And if a beer sponsor pays that princely sum, Spurs will very likely play a team from India named East Bengal on May 18, just one week after the Premier League season concludes.
