arsenal web site Arsenal to Relaunch Website in Summer 2008

Arsene Wenger’s team will not be the only thing at Arsenal getting an overhaul this summer. The Arsenal.com website will undergo a complete redesign as well as other significant changes.

Liverpool-based digital media agency Rippleffect has won the four-year contract. The agency will be responsible for the complete redesign of Arsenal.com including the back-end. The new website is scheduled for a launch this summer, which is a pretty aggressive turnaround time.

According to Rippleffect, they “will also introduce a number of web 2.0 features to the website such as podcasts, vodcasts, RSS feeds, social bookmarking and user-generated content services.”

Earlier this month, American businessman Stan Kroenke bought 50% of Arsenal Broadband, the company responsible for running the Arsenal website.
