Aston Villa Preseason Tour Given the Green Light

Aston Villa and soccer fans in the States can give a huge sigh of relief knowing that the North American tour will happen now that Villa didn’t get selected as the recipient of the Fair Play Award from UEFA, which would have meant their North American pre-season friendlies being postponed or cancelled.

Villa will play Toronto FC on July 25 and Columbus on July 28. Seeing how passionate the Toronto fans are, which is very surprising by Major League Soccer standards, that match should be very watchable indeed.
